Well, this post is for hardcore android fans! who buy a device, don't care for warranty, ROOT it asap!

Wow! What a feeling with this, Well, in my experience I own a Note N7000 and it is a good phone, well it was a flagship.. and the rooting procedure was as simple as Clicking start on Odin!
But, I've been playing with a moto G of my friend, he wanted me to ROOT so after searching on XDA and all, I've finally found a crack to the Moto!

Lets get started,

The Moto G has revolutionised the lower-end smartphone market. The handset packs in such a brilliant package of specs and software that it manages to make the Nexus 5 from Google look somewhat overpriced.
Unlike the Moto X, the Moto G comes with a bootloader that can be easily unlocked, making the process of rooting the handset relatively easy.
Before you jump to the rooting guide below, remember that unlocking the bootloader will void the warranty of your handset. Additionally, unlocking the boot loader means that your handset will be wiped clean of all the data so don’t forget to make backups.
Lastly, rooting the phone also means that you won’t be able to receive direct OTA updates from Motorola. However, this should not be an issue since there will always be a way available for rooted users to install any new update manually.
1. First, head over to the official Motorola website to unlock the bootloader of your Moto G.
2. Head over to this thread on MoDaCo forums to download the latest version of Superboot for the G. Proceed to extract the contents of the ZIP file inside a new folder called ‘moto’ on your desktop.
3. Open a new Command prompt or Terminal window and navigate to the ‘moto’ folder you created on the previous step.
4. Put your Moto G in boot loader mode by switching off the device first, and then pressing the Volume down + Power button, simultaneously.
5. Now, run the following command in the command prompt or terminal window you had opened in step 3, depending on the OS your PC is running -:
Windows:
superboot-windows.bat
Mac:
./superboot-mac.sh
Your Moto G will restart automatically once the process is completed and you will be greeted with root access and SuperSu installed. With great power comes greater responsibilities, so make sure you give only trusted apps root access on your device.
P.S. -: If you were successful in rooting your Moto G using the above method, do try to show your appreciation to MoDaCo by donating or signing up for a MoDaCo subscription!
